WHere is a simplified version of a cocktail found on our latest menu. Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed which is bursting full of tastes associated with holiday season, which makes it excellent for hosting a holiday party. Save the extra cordial you can use for morning drinks, puddings, or to mix more rounds of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Premix (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Combine every items into a pan, bring to a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the heat allowing it to cool entirely. Transfer into an clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for around one month.
Preparing the Premix: Combine all the liquids into one sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then pass it through preferably using cheesecloth, making it completely strained.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute until cold. Strain to a cold coupe glass or similar, top with the cranberries and finish using a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
